Ian, What a delightful afternoon yesterday! You and Lisa made the trip in the ferry well worth the rough voyage. I really enjoyed discussing your trip with you and called Copeland's Garage to let them know that their repairs went quite well. I"ve posted photos and a quick note on my blog, Behind the Steering Wheel, and you'll appear in the next issue of Rover Magazine. I hope you enjoy the foliage in Maine!

Hi Ian. We crossed paths with you about 4-5 weeks ago in Souix Falls South Dakota. We were remarking on seeing another Texas license plate let alone a DeLoreon. We were the group towing the red Mustang to upper Minnesota for a car rally. Hope you trip continues better than our rally went. We had 2 spark plug wires crossed and hence no power. But that was okay, we broke a brake line so we couldn't stop any way.

Awesome thing you're doing here. Lotta people are jealous including myself. I once drove a '68 Newport Convertible from Montreal to San Francisco in 21days all on secondary highways. Best trip ever. Good luck.

What an amazing trip! I was laid of Dec '08 and also took it as an opportunity to have a mid-life crisis without risking my job :)... I did 175,000 air miles the first year, then made multiple road trips with my '92 Allante. A few troubles here and there (head gasket and transmission were the biggies) but sure enjoyed the opportunity and recognize some of your photos of places I made stops as well. Keep enjoying this amazing trip and we all look forward to more updates! Thank you for sharing, Bruce

What a great adventure! You are doing what many of us would have done at some point if we had only had the guts to do it. Safe travels!

Hey Ian, Saw your story on Hemmings.com. I'm originally from Houston but live in Atlanta now. If your find yourself driving through Atlanta and need a place to jack up the Delorean give a shout. I'm a car nut! and I have always loved the Delorean. Good luck, safe travels, I look forward to reading more about your trip. Chris

My girlfriend and I saw your car in traffic in Chicago last Wednesday - we saw the sticker and checked out your website. Tried to take a picture but your lane suddenly moved faster than ours! You rock.

Ian, I got your voice message today. Glad to hear you got the suspension repaired................and by yourself to boot! If you're in Seattle give me a holler. If I'm around maybe we can hook up so I can see your DeLorean. Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Hi Ian, Gene Nakamura called me and said you need some suspension work on your DeLorean. He said you're in Vancouver BC right now and may come to Seattle (my home) sometime soon. There's a highly regarded suspension shop here called True Line. I've used them before. Give me a holler via email so we can "chat". Steve Okamura
